WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

If you’ve been injured in a motor accident in NSW, we understand it’s a very stressful time. You’re injured, unable to go to work, needing treatment and unsure of what to do next. How will you pay your bills? How will you provide for your family while you recover from your injuries?

Adding to your stress, there’s a strict time limit on pursuing NSW motor accident claims. You can start to lose your entitlements in as little as 28 days, if you don’t lodge an Application for Personal Injury Benefits with the insurer responsible for your claim. Compensation entitlements vary considerably in NSW, depending on how seriously you were injured and whether you were at fault for the accident.

Most injured people are entitled to up to 6 months worth of weekly benefits for treatment, income loss and commercial home care.  For those more seriously injured, as well as ongoing weekly benefits, you may be eligible for lump sum payments for pain and suffering as well as loss of past and future wages.

Find out more information about your rights and entitlements by clicking the “START” button above.
